Visiting Scholar Program

The Seminary offers its facilities to a limited number of mature scholars who wish to engage in research, ideally meant for a scholar on sabbatical leave from their institution. Such persons may apply for status as visiting scholars for one semester or the academic year, September through May, which will grant them one or more privileges in regard to the use of the Seminary’s resources: namely, the Seminary's library and Firestone Library of Princeton University, auditing classes, and low-rental furnished apartments are among the privileges extended. The Seminary's visiting scholar program is for individuals whose primary purpose for residence is to conduct independent research.

山东体彩网-竞彩足球Those interested in applying for Visiting Scholar privileges must fill out an application form and send a current CV or resumé and a brief proposal (500 words) outlining your research topic.

The deadline for applications is November 15 for the following academic year. Applicants are notified by February 15 regarding action taken on their application.

*Please note: Currently Princeton Theological Seminary is implementing a Master Plan of our campus. To maximize the available use of housing for our current students, we have significantly reduced, for a temporary period, the number of visiting scholars we can admit to our program.
